At the Heart
With a lifelong interest in drawing, Justine studied illustration at SCAD, then received their painting BFA at MassArt. Currently living in Truro, MA as a visual and performance artist, she reflects upon her connections between fine art, illustration, and dance. Justine’s current obsession is collaging paper mâché up-cycled lampshades. They use pages from old books and publications with handmade papers to illuminate their drawings, while interlocking history, feminism, queer culture, and nature.
